Construction begins on Carrollton’s $1 billion transit development

CARROLLTON – A $1 billion transit-oriented development has begun construction after 20 years of planning.

Located on the corner of Bush Turnpike and Stemmons Fwy., the 25-acre Trinity Mills Station is next to rail stations for the Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) and the Denton County Transportation Authority.

The project will have a three-acre esplanade park, 436-unit, five-story Eviva Trinity Mills apartments that will open in November 2025, and a 125,000-sf office building.

The city acquired the land in 2003 and is partnering with DART on the development.

Atlanta-based Integral Group is developing the apartments.
