Waco Regional Airport flying high after $8.3M transformation

​WACO – The Waco Regional Airport’s terminal modernization project has been completed. The $9 million project was made possible with $8.3 million from the Federal Aviation Administration.

The multi-phase project includes a complete floor-to-ceiling overhaul with new terrazzo flooring, vaulted ceilings, lighting, restrooms, furniture, charging stations, and more.

In addition to the interior renovations, infrastructure improvements have been made to ensure the facility’s longevity, including a new fire alarm, roof system, fire suppression systems, and a new ventilation and air-conditioning system.
