NAR reaches agreement to resolve nationwide claims brought by home sellers

DALLAS – An Oak Cliff middle school will be demolished started in March to make way for a replacement school.
Located at 2001 E Kiest Blvd., the 161,000-sf John Lewis Social Justice Academy at Oliver Wendell Holmes will have a capacity of 800 to 900 students and cost $80 million. Nearly $60 million will go toward the first phase of demolition and rebuilding.
The school will open in January 2025 and be completed in summer 2025.
The project is designed by VLK Architects Inc. It is a part of Dallas ISD’s 2020 bond package.
Formerly the Oliver Wendell Holmes Junior High School, the school was built in the 1950s.
