New data center set in motion on 21-acre Pflugerville campus

PFLUGERVILLE – Dallas-based Skybox Datacenters LLC and Prologis Inc. are planning a $63 million, 148,500-sf facility near New Meister and Meister Lanes, which is coming as a second phase to another center.

The second phase is scheduled to start in December and be completed in October 2024. It will include a one-story building for a data center and two-story building for an office.

The first phase of the project was a $548 million, 30-megawatt data center that spans 141,000 sf at the northeast corner of New Meister and Meister Lanes. The facility is expected to create ten full-time primary jobs.

Both projects are supported by two Oncor electric substations.

The two parcels total about 21 acres. The parcel owners are listed as Austin Data Center 1 LLC and Austin Data Center 2 LLC, which both have ties to Prologis.
