I-10 Hyatt Place gets new management, multimillion-dollar makeover

SAN ANTONIO – The Hyatt Place hotel on I-10 is now managed by Iridescent Hotels, and RS General Partners is the new owner.

The new owner plans to significantly change and remodel the lobby and breakfast areas, as well as other common spaces. All 126 guest rooms will be transformed.

Work is expected to be completed in first quarter 2024.

The hotel formerly operated as AmeriSuites property. In 2005, AmeriSuites was acquired by Hyatt. The San Antonio property was among the first to fly the Hyatt Place flag.
