Highland Park office building being renovated

HIGHLAND PARK – A three-story office building at 5500 Preston Rd. is getting a multimillion-dollar makeover.

Improvements will be made to the exterior entrance, lobby, elevators, restrooms, atrium, and common corridors. The building will also get new landscaped planters, seating areas, and an outdoor pergola. 

Renovations will be completed in early 2024.

The 77,437-sf building is fully leased with tenants including Bank of America. 

Gensler designed the renovations, and landscaping was done by Garrison Jones Landscape Design.​
