EL PASO – The owner of 1790 Lee Trevino has invested in 528 solar panels to power his 60,000-sf building.
Solar panels now cover the carports that surround the building and put out an estimated annual 470,000 kW hours. They will supply 44 percent of the building’s power.
The solar panels have a lifespan of more than 30 years and will provide more savings over time.
The system was installed by Border Solar, an El Paso-based solar company.
